Certifications &
Experience
Krista worked as a Chemical Engineer for 10+ years but now uses her lifelong experiences, trainings, coaching opportunities, and certifications to pour back into you.
Coach Krista Steinbeiser has been playing and coaching soccer for 25 years. She played Division 1 College Soccer at McNeese State University as a starting center midfielder. She achieved several awards such as First Team All Conference, the Golden Boot award and was featured in many news articles. Prior to that she played club soccer for Solar, Andromeda, and FC Dallas and high school soccer for the Allen High School Varsity Soccer team where she was MVP. Krista has several years of experience as a referee, private trainer, and coach. She received her coaching license and coached four FC Dallas Juniors teams while she lived in Texas. She currently coaches the Chillicothe High School men’s team as well as a U11 Greenhill’s soccer club team. She continues to work a lot with the youth outside of soccer and has a mission to empower the younger generation to grow in confidence and courage, while also enjoying their sports.
In addition to soccer, Krista has also received 10 years of training in Krav Maga, Karate, Jiu-jitsu, and other forms of Self Defense. She fully believes in the power of your voice, advocating for yourself, setting necessary boundaries, deescalating and getting home safely. It is more and more critical these days to be equipped with these skills and knowing how to trust your gut and how to get home safely. Knowing how to deescalate is equally as necessary as knowing how to throw combatives and get out of certain unwelcomed situations. Krista has been teaching these techniques in private lessons to women, men, and children, as well as churches, sports teams, and women’s seminars partnering with Stella Maris Center. What separates her from many other Krav Maga and self defense instructors is not only her enthusiasm and energy, but how she integrates these sessions with empowering scripture passages and declarations because knowing self defense includes repetition in this mind, body, and soul muscle.
Finally, Krista received her ISSA certification in fitness and nutrition. She has 5 years of experience working with dietitians and 25 years of training under various coaches and fitness instructors. She knows first hand what works and what doesn’t work to become a better athlete, what causes injuries and burnout, and also what causes a life of longevity, health, and wholeness. Health is not just a number on the scale or the number of miles you can run or what you can bench press, it is rather how balanced you are in all areas of life (physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and spiritually). Krista informs you with more than just textbook advice, but also what the long term studies show, coupled with her own experience. Today, you can achieve wellness and be in a place of abundance and joy to cherish the moments that mean the most.
